Douglas Romano, Partner
Before co-founding Source Asset Management, Mr. Romano was most recently head of mutual fund sales at SkyBridge Capital. Before SkyBridge, Mr. Romano was a vice president at AIG SunAmerica Asset Management, where he covered southern New England. A lifelong entrepreneur, Mr. Romano previously ran a concierge business. He attended Iona College, where he played ice hockey, and holds the Series 63 license. Mr. Romano is the vice president of the Stamford Youth Hockey Association and is on the board of the David Wright Foundation. He is also a founding member and Emeritus/Advisory Board Member of the Mickey Lione, Jr. Fund. He resides in Connecticut with his wife and three children.
Brendan G. Voege, CFA, Partner
Before co-founding Source Asset Management, Mr. Voege was a portfolio manager at SkyBridge Capital, where he developed and launched the SkyBridge Dividend Value Fund (SKYIX) in 2014. The fund peaked at $500 million before being sold to Centre Asset Management in 2019.
Between 2003 and 2014, Mr. Voege was a portfolio analyst, quantitative analyst, portfolio manager and senior vice president at AIG SunAmerica Asset Management Corp, where he ran a $5.6 billion suite of rules-based portfolios. Mr. Voege’s products have been featured in Barron’s, Bloomberg, the Institutional Investor, Reuters and the Wall Street Journal.
From 2000 to 2004 Mr. Voege was a portfolio analytics specialist at FactSet Research Systems Inc., a provider of financial information and analytics. Between 1998 and 2000 he was a mergers and acquisitions analyst at John S. Herold Inc., an independent research firm specializing in the energy sector.
Mr. Voege is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York State Society of Securities Analysts. He received an M.B.A from Iona College and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Mr. Voege received a B.A. from Fordham University.
At Fordham Mr. Voege swam and played water polo. He had several top 10 finishes at the Patriot League Swimming Championships and was captain and most valuable player of the water polo team in 1996. He still loves the water and lives in Long Island, NY, where he surfs and coaches for the Long Beach Aquatics Tiger Sharks swim team. Mr. Voege is married with four children.
